Get the Chore Done
Your objective this week is to create a device that will make doing your chore easier, or at least a lot more fun!
This device can help you in any way, as long as it gets you to finish your chore!

Present & Complete the Challenge.
Use our slideshow to present the challenge, clarify the objective, and teach a quick STEM lesson. Or just jump straight to the challenge video, then let the kids create! Use our resource pack to help your participants generate ideas and troubleshoot.

Make videos of your participants’ solutions.
Try to keep your videos under 90-seconds long and include the following:
• The name of your solution.
• How does it work?
• What materials did you use?
• Did you have to overcome any problems?
• What was the biggest lesson you learned?
See tips on creating a great entry video here.
EPIC FAIL! Failure is an important part of the engineering and invention process. It’s how we learn and move forward. If you capture a failed solution attempt on video, be sure to enter it separately into the Epic Fail contest category. The most impressive failure of the week will win a prize!
NOTE: By submitting entries on behalf of your participants, you are certifying that the parent or legal guardian has agreed to our terms and conditions and has given you permission to enter their child. You can use our waiver letter or our combination Registration/Waiver form.

Enter the contest by 9:00pm ET on July 14th
