Our vision

A world where every child sees themselves as a creator capable of building, designing, innovating, and solving problems with confidence.

Our mission is to inspire the next generation of creative thinkers, problem solvers, and leaders by making Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) enrichment accessible, engaging, and fun.

Created by Kids, for Kids

STEM education is becoming more available in schools, but for many kids the experience ends there. They may not seek or have opportunities for out-of-school enrichment, especially if STEM feels intimidating or ‘for someone else.’

Invent the Summer changes that. Our by kids, for kids model makes STEM fun, relatable, and accessible. When kids see peers leading, teaching, and creating, they gain confidence to try new things and solve problems in their own way.

STEM is more than science, technology, engineering, and math. It is a life skill set that includes creativity, problem solving, perseverance, collaboration, and confidence.

Our Learner-to-Leader Pathway

This is the heart of what makes us unique. Invent the Summer grows alongside our participants. From their first hands-on challenge to leading workshops as young adults, students progress through a pathway that builds confidence, creativity, and leadership at every stage.
